Four days of not seeing each other after a 5-day MNL trip. He was sick by then but that didn’t even cease his overflowing sweetness.
He swung to my place and picked me for a CAT get-to-together or should I say a ‘wacking’ day(judgement day) for the future officers of this year. We intend to eat breakfast first before going there but I was a bit confused why he turned the car and went inside the school immediately. My confusion turned into an excitement when I saw the dumbguards having a hiatus at the field right after their morning exercise. I looked around, then I realized that it’s been a while since the last time I was there. When i stepped out, I continued to wander through where i spotted a hybrid of officers at the front of the trainees. To my surprise a friend of mine walked towards me and greeted me with a bouquet of flowers. I thought of it as a joke at first but when I read the card, those were really for me! :’) Only then I know he dropped by there just before he came to meet me.
What’s written on the card:

Since i graduated, mornings were not on my vocabulary by then and I stayed up late oftentimes. But last May 3 my classmates recruited me for a whole day affair asking me if I’m up for a job hunting. Although i lacked sleep, I still managed to wake up early for that day. We actually rounded the city and Mactan island that everyone got so exhausted to the point that we didn’t care about the scorching heat anymore. But me? I only needed him to get by all these. When we’re in this particular resort in Mactan, there’s this friend of mine making his call while some of us were busy doing chitchats and all. He said that he’ll be meeting someone outside to get something. Without any idea that it was him, I just continued listening to my girls’ stories. After a successful resume passing we eventually separated ways. My two other friends asked me to go with them at SM for a rewarding dinner after that long tiring day. At their first attempt, I denied their invitation for I really wanted to go home and respond to my bed’s call. But when we reached the city, it already started to drizzle so I changed my mind and go with them instead of getting wet in the rain. All this time, he kept on telling me that there’s something coming up and I will find it pretty soon. Quietly not sure of what he’s talking about, I observed every single thing that I see around me. That’s when then I spotted a purple paper bag. I was blinded that this present was already at the front of me all along. To my surprise i didn’t even know how to react or what to say after I saw what’s inside it. In short I’m speechless. ♥
